Bradford City Escape Apartment

This property should be taken off booking.com as it is a scam. Positive: Sadly there was nothing to like. Negative: At £330 for two nights midweek, and with a very good rating, I was under the illusion that this property would be lovely. How wrong I was. It is absolutely nothing like the photos which must’ve been taken years ago. The reviews sadly are fake as they are written by the same person who rates it as excellent but writes no comments whatsoever. I’m kicking myself for not noticing that. There was a television on the wall that didn’t work and another huge one dumped on the window sill that also didn’t work. It looked like a fly tipping site. There was laundry in the washing machine when we arrived. The lighting was very dodgy - the lamps in the bedroom didn’t work at all and the bathroom light took forever to come on. The mattress had springs coming out all over the place. It was meant to be a non-smoking property and yet there was a huge cigarette burn in one of the cushions and our clothes still stunk of smoke when we returned home. There were breadcrumbs on the kitchen table and the place was rather grubby. Greasy handprints all over the walls and grotty carpets.
